Aerial Application Services

We are no longer Scheduling 2025 Spongy Moth Spraying, but we will add you to the contact list for 2026, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

Scheduling Summer Fungicide Applications

We are also scheduling tick spraying as well as deerfly spraying for pastures and rural homes!

Why choose Aerial Application over a conventional sprayer?

Aerial application has the unique advantage that it doesn’t run over any crops. Driving a conventional ground sprayer through crops, including corn, is known to destroy 2 bushels per acre on average. If you are paying a $10 application fee for a ground sprayer and soybeans are trading at $10 per bushel, you’re really paying $30 per acre for the application! Ground sprayers are excellent tools, however the most cost effective option for spraying fungicides and insecticides on mature crops is aerial application.

Area of Operation

We primarily operate out of the Paul C. Miller/Sparta Airport located in Sparta, Michigan. We primarily serve Kent and Ottawa County, but are willing to travel just about anywhere in the state depending on the volume of work. Additionally, our portable drone setup allows us to commute long distances on short notice if you have an urgent need.

Drone Spraying?

We are one of only a few business who operate both manned aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones/UAVs). The drones allows us to spray in fields that would otherwise be impractical or dangerous to operate the airplane in. We are often asked, “which is better, the airplane or the drone?” The answer is that it depends on the task, but from our own and our customer’s yield data, when operated correctly (drone running a swath width no greater than 25 feet), there is no measurable difference. The drone also has the unique advantage of being able to operate at night.
